Explore Suture Anchor

Suture anchor is a small implant that reattaches soft tissues to bone via sutures. Through their binding and compression effects, they partially or fully restore soft tissue function. It can be used in the shoulder joint, elbow joint, hand and wrist joint, knee joint, foot and ankle joints, maxillofacial region, hip joint, and pelvic region.

Traditional Repair Treatments VS Suture Anchor Orthopedic
Traditional Repair: such as external fixation with plaster or bandage, metal wire suturing, suture line suturing, implanting fixation of tendinous tissue after bone opening, etc. It carries risks such as joint adhesion and stiffness, tissue re-tear, persistent pain at the injured site, and partial loss of function.

All Suture Anchor: The advantages include smaller incisions, simpler operation, shorter surgical time, reduced complication rates, full restoration of the native anatomical structure, stable fixation with strong traction force, shorter external fixation duration, faster recovery, avoidance of complications, alleviation of patient suffering, and no need for implant removal.

How to use the orthopedic suture anchor?
1. Grind the bone surface to cause rough bleeding.
2. Implant the anchor at 2-3mm below cortical bone
3. After passing the suture passer through the cannula, it passes through the tissue and reaches the position of the suture.
4. Use the tip of the device to separate the suture you want to grasp.
5. Open the jaw of the suture passer and grasp the required suture.
6. Close the jaw carefully to prevent the suture from being caught by the proximal end of the jaw.
7. Pull out the grasped suture and pass through the tissue and working channel. Repeat the above steps, grab other sutures, and finally knot.
8. Knot the suture to fix the tendon on the bone surface.
