Explore Spine Anterior Cervical Plate

With the progress and development of society and the widespread application of intelligent electronic products, the “phubbing” lifestyle has gradually become a common phenomenon. Meanwhile, the number of people suffering from cervical spine diseases is increasing year by year, and the affected population is becoming younger. So how can we prevent and treat cervical spine diseases?

Common Types of Cervical Spine Diseases
1. Degenerative Cervical Spondylosis
Degenerative cervical spondylosis is one of the most prevalent cervical spine disorders, among which cervical intervertebral disc herniation ranks the most common. It mainly occurs when degenerative changes take place in each part of the cervical intervertebral disc. Under external force, the fibrous ring of the intervertebral disc ruptures, and the degenerated nucleus pulposus protrudes, causing compression of the spinal cord or spinal nerve roots, which leads to the onset of the disease.

2. Cervical Spine Trauma
Cervical spine trauma is divided into upper cervical spine injury and lower cervical spine injury.Lower cervical spine injury is the more common traumatic type in clinical practice, mostly caused by severe external impact.

3. Cervical Spine Tumors
Cervical spine tumors refer to primary or secondary tumors occurring in the cervical spine.Primary cervical spine tumors are relatively rare, while secondary metastatic tumors are predominant.Malignant tumors are more commonly diagnosed in adults, whereas benign lesions are more likely found in children and adolescents aged 18 and under.Clinically, treatment generally involves surgical resection of the lesion followed by internal fixation to preserve cervical spine function as much as possible.

Clinical treatments are divided into conservative treatment and surgical treatment. This article focuses mainly on surgical treatment methods.
At present, three major surgical approaches are widely used clinically:
Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF)
Anterior Cervical Corpectomy and Fusion (ACCF)
Anterior Controllable Antedisplacement and Fusion (ACAF)
Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF) is a classic surgical procedure for cervical spondylosis. Its operative procedures mainly include two core parts: decompression and stability reconstruction.

The Anterior Cervical Plate is an internal fixation implant specifically designed for the cervical spine. Its low-profile plate design ensures rigid and stable fixation, while effectively reducing postoperative adverse symptoms caused by the implant.

Spinal anterior cervical plate features:
Low-profile plate thickness allowing for treatment of multi levels of degenerative pathologies and avoiding dysphagia
Large bone graft window for direct observation of bone graft
Preset tablet pressing mechanism, rotate 90˚ clockwise to lock, easy for adjustment and revision, simple operation, one-step lock
Variable-angle self-tapping screw, reduce tapping and save operation time

Cervical Plate

Coarctate plate shaft: 12 mm
Gradually broadening screwing part: 16 mm
Slots for additional screw fixation, and unique pre-fixation options
Low-profile design to reduce the impingement on local anatomical structure, with the plate thickness of only 1.9 mm

Spine Plate

Hyper screw angulations reduces the anterior longitudinal ligament resection.
Minimize the impingement on anterior longitudinal ligament and adjacent levels.

Integrated plate, visual tactile lock
