Patient Condition: Fell from a height of approximately 2 meters with fall injury, presenting with left hip pain and limited range of motion.
Preoperative
After physical examination by the emergency physician, X-ray and CT scans were performed. The patient was admitted to our hospital with a tentative diagnosis of intertrochanteric femoral fracture.
Postoperative
Indications for the Intertan Intramedullary Nail:
Intertrochanteric femoral fractures, femoral neck fractures (basicervical and transcervical types), subtrochanteric femoral fractures, reverse intertrochanteric femoral fractures, and revision treatment for nonunion of the proximal femur.
